The Responsible Pet Ownership Mission is dedicated to educating and empowering individuals, families, and communities to provide lifelong, loving care for their pets. Too many animals enter shelters due to preventable challenges such as lack of training, unexpected costs, behavioral misunderstandings, or life changes.
This mission is to reduce surrender and abandonment by giving pet owners the knowledge, tools, and support they need to succeed upfront!
Through education and awareness campaigns, this mission promotes responsible decisions at every stage of pet ownership, from thoughtful adoption, proper training, healthcare and long term planning. Participants can learn the importance of spay and neuter services, regular veterinary care, positive reinforcement training, and creating safe, stimulating environments for pets!
By connecting pet owners with local resources, local trainers, local shelters, and local support networks, this mission helps strengthen the bond between people and their pets while keeping animals in loving homes!
