HELP OUT THE FLORIDA PANTHERS

Animals
Florida, United States

Human activities are putting Florida Panthers at risk. The construction industry is a major threat to panthers because it leads to habitat loss, and roads are inaccessible for panthers.

Even though this is only one species, if it goes extinct, it can have a profound effect on its ecosystem. Florida Panthers are top predators, and if they die out, other mammals will be able to increase in numbers. Upon increasing in number, mammals consume other mammals, decreasing their numbers. As a consequence, all the mammals will die over time, resulting in an unbalanced ecosystem and a high risk of failure.

They will surely die out if we don't do something soon, since there are only 120-130 Florida Panthers left. Inbreeding, vehicle collisions, and mercury poisoning of prey are all contributing to this rapid decline.

What is the solution to this issue?

To help the Florida Panthers, please sign this petition. There are several ways the Florida Government can protect Florida Panthers, including building new habitats for them and providing easier access to roads for them.

Are you ready to help? We must save the Florida Panthers together, everyone! Sign this petition and let's save the Panthers!
